Since 1976, when Peter Trefelik took over the former leather goods atelier, the space has transformed into a glamorous fashion temple offering everything a refined wardrobe requires: from couture gowns to accessories, shoes, bags, and fine jewelry. Today, the 1,400-square-meter boutique, located directly opposite the Vienna State Opera, is run by Peter Trefelik and his sons Rainer and Sascha. Across three elegantly curated floors, clients discover an exclusive selection of the world’s finest labels — names that read like a who’s who of global fashion: Sergio Rossi, Talbot Runhof, Ermanno Scervino, Agnona, Carolina Herrera, Kiton, Giuseppe Zanotti, Elie Saab, Jenny Packham, Oscar de la Renta, Zuhair Murad, Ralph Lauren — and many more. Famed for its extensive selection of evening gowns, Popp & Kretschmer invites guests to try on dream dresses with a glass of champagne in hand on the first floor. In-house alterations are included, courtesy of the Couture Salon. The boutique also offers personal shopping services, wardrobe upgrades, and tailored styling advice — because true luxury, after all, is personal
