Many generations of fashion lovers stood at the large shop windows of Popp & Kretschmer’s Vienna store in the heart of town and haven’t tired at the sight of the textile splendors presented there. In 1976, Peter Trefelik took over the former leather manufactory and gradually built this glamorous fashion temple, where women can come to clothe themselves from head to toe. Today, he manages the 1,400 square meter store right across from the Vienna State Opera together with his sons Rainer and Sascha. On three stories customers find a selection of the who is who of fashion brands: Alberta Ferretti, Carolina Herrera, Kiton, Giuseppe Zanotti, Elie Saab, Vivienne Westwood, Jenny Packham, Moschino Couture, Oscar de la Renta, Stuart Weitzman, Zuhair Murad, Ralph Lauren.
And that is only part of the list. Popp & Kretschmer is also famous for its big selection of evening wear, which you can try on with a glass of champagne on the first floor – alterations in the Couture Salon, included. Another service: personal shopping to match and upgrade your wardrobe. This much luxury is a must!
